We took our raft up to Glacier and floated on the Flathead River and camped for 2 nights inside the park at Avalanche campground. The picture of Indy and I was a hike up to the small Avalanche gorge. Dad fishing with his good friend Jeremiah (Autumn's dad) came with us. And the events go on and on........
We finally bought our fishing raft- saw it at a yard sale and got an amazing deal. Our first run was on this river, the Blackfoot. We camped the night before, woke up early and floated all day. We attempted to fish but didnt have any bites. Danny made a platform for jed so he could come along. On the float we spotted a bald eagle, the closer we got the bigger we realized he was. That moment in time will never be forgotten. I thought we were going to endear big rapids so I was pretty nervous, but they ended up being only a class 2! Ha that is still pretty big for me, my heart dropped to my ankles a few times. Once I saw how much fun the boys were having I got over my fear. They have no fear. This is the first raft trip of many to come.
Tristan and Autumn once again. They are quite the pair and love each other so much. This was the boys first expirence tubing and I laughed the whole time. They weren't even scared and they kept giving us the signal to go faster.
We attended some old friends wedding at Big Sky and Angie one of my greatest freinds came along. This day was actually Indy's 3rd birthday and the party was fabulous. Moonlight Basin is a newer resort above Big Sky ad it was a great place to celebrate a birthday and a wedding. if you eve come to Montana this place is worth checking out in the winter to ski.
We took a trip 4 hours east to Katies farm. She has 50 acres and so many animals. She was building a barn for all her animals and we got to help. Indy loved the goats Bart and Lisa so much,he is such a gentle animal lover! Tristan got to ride Tumbleweed, the horse, around the farm and then we all went on a horse ride together. Katie is quite the cowgirl and has the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. Chickens were nearby and the boys got to gather fresh eggs every morning.
Im a mother of two BEAUTIFUL and healthy boys Tristan and Indyana. We are finally living in Montana (our roots) after some intense trials over the past couple years. Im a pediatric nurse and I work at the same hospital Indy and I were born at.
My boys are soon to be 6 and 3, Tristan was born in Bozeman while I was in nursing school and little Indy was born in Missoula while I was finishing up nursing. Having been to Los Angeles via Reno via back to Missoula, Montana I could say we are finally home! A place my father loved and cherished i will never leave this country again. My journey on this blog begins now at age 29 and the lives of my man and my children from this point on.
